How To Get a Google Voice Invite

By: Joel Blair
Getting a Google Voice invite is very easy. If you go to the Google Voice Invitations page, fill out their form and are willing to wait from 2 days all the way up to 6 months for an email, then you are done. You need not continue reading this how-to, because this is for those who would like to get an invite much sooner.
Now that you have decided you are as impatient as I, we will move on to the Google Voice invitations checklist:
1.) Ask all your friends for an invite. It may surprise you who already
has an account.
2.) Post everywhere stating that you would like an invite:
-Twitter
-Facebook status
- oh, you get the idea everywhere
3.) Enter some online contests.
People (like me) are always using what they have to attract extra
attention to their blog. Search for sweepstakes and contests for
invites.
4.)Go to Twitter and do a tweet search on #googlevoice. There
are people all over the world with extra invites waiting to give you a
hand. Just mention them in a tweet and that you wish to have an invite.
Someone might oblige you.
5.) Lastly, you can find one on Ebay. Personally, I think free stuff
should be, you know, free.
If you have followed all the directions above then you have a Google Voice Account. Maybe I will write an article on why you should have a Google Voice account. Then, I will be posting articles on how to use them.
